IHSB provides the contractorisation of the RMAF simulator training since January 2003. We are responsible in conducting training for the RMAF Hawk, F/A-18D and PC-7 Mk 11, EC 120B & Su-30MKM flight simulators.
As the approach to the utilization of flight simulators has changed and over the years, we are able to provide specialist skill training throughout the tenure of our training services through the utilization of our qualified and highly experienced instructors.
We have established ourselves to be the center of excellence in Human Factors training – Human Factor is recognized by NASA to be the main causal factor in aviation accidents and incidents. Developed Air Arms throughout the world have mandated their personnel at all levels to undergo the human factor courses to create awareness and practices relevant to human factor issues. The training is targeted for aircrews (Crew Resource Management – CRM), maintenance personnel (Maintenance Resource Management – MRM) and the Air Traffic controllers (Team Resource Management – TRM). Presently the company is the RMAF training provider for aviation human factors.
Through our initial partnership with the Malaysian Airline Systems to provide training to the RMAF, we have now developed our own human factor training syllabus and concepts through R&D and training tailoring to the customer’s needs.
To date, we have given numerous CRM, MRM and TRM trainings to the Royal Malaysian Air Force and CRM training to the Malaysian Maritime Enforcement Agency and Malaysian Army Aviation.
IHSB has just completed the development SACC course at the request of the RMAF aiming to enhance the professional aviation knowledge of its aviators to enable them to operate confidently and effectively in all corners of the world.
The one month course is targeted for senior pilots who will undertake aircraft command appointments and also for those who are chosen to undergo the flight instructor course in ILIT, Kolej Tentera Udara.
